Hudson, wi is another great St. Croix river town with many restaurants and pubs just a couple of block off the river.

Docking in Hudson is fairly easy however, can be really busy on the weekends. The city dock can accommodate most any sized vessel and on weekends their is a dock boy to help you land. The down fall is that there is a $5.00 per hour charge for tying up. This money goes to the Afton House Inn in Afton, MN. I'm not sure how this works as it is the Hudson City Dock and the city of Hudson lets the Afton House moor their river cruise boat the Grand Duchess there. You also have the option of tying up to the wall at no cost however, proceed with caution as the wall has many shallow spots with fairly large rocks.
